A motion graphics explainer video for Succorfish M2M’s ‘SC4 product.
The video needed to communicate the wide variety of global uses the product had. To achive this we used a map view that included small scenes on markers, giving a sense of the global and the ‘on the ground’ uses.
I wanted to pay particular attention to the effect of the micro scenes moving along with the camera movements across the map, this helped tie the macro and the micro closer together visually.
Alvino's cocktail bar in Newcastle approached us at Arcus to create some illustration work to cover some windows.
I came up with these Comic book inspired designs with a vague narrative of clashes of titans and the resulting post apocalypse 'Toon. The vinyls sit within the comic book and Americana themes of the bar, whilst also obscuring a view of bins in an ally way. Result.
Huge thanks to David Hails for his help printing cutting and with installation.
